Star shaped jewelry set

This is  star shaped jewelry set made from polymer clay.I made this for my friend's daughter as a birthday gift.

I prefer polymer clay more than terracotta because of the ease to make and it is less time consuming.Terracotta takes normally 2-3 days to get complete but polymer clay takes only a few hours.

This set is really light weight eventhough its made of clay.

Terracotta and polymer clay necklace

This necklace is my experiment using polymer clay and terracotta.The beads of the necklace is made of polymer clay.The pendant is made of terracotta.

I have given colors of peacok feather for the pendant and black polymer clay is used for beads.

Terracotta jewelry making is a little bit consuming because we have to carve out the shape first ,then it should get dry.I use air dry clay.It will normally take 1-2 days to get dry.Then we have to paint it and we should let it dry.It will take another half day.Then a varnish coating should be given so the color will not go.But the end result after all this hard work is too good.We get lovely handmade ornaments.

Polymer clay is very easy to use.We don't have to work very hard like that of terracotta.Polymer clay is very easy to handle also.After making the desired shape only we have to do is to bake it.

Sandstone necklace

 This necklace is made of sandstone beads and golden colored beads.Three coin lockets are also used.

This necklace has an Indian ethnic look.This is a simple one and easy to make.

Wooden beads jewelry set

    This is the first time I am trying a jewelry set with wooden beads.Yup, this set is completely made of golden and black wooden beads.This set very light weighted even though it is wooden.

I have used golden and black since it is a standard combination and I like that color combination.Golden color matches with every colors.

This lovely bead jewelry set goes good with summer wear.

I made this jewelry set from an assorted collection of acrylic beads.The most catchy bead in this set is the peacock feather colored one.I hade made the earrings with that so the earrings are beautiful and catchy.
